Painting Classes

Have fun learning to paint with Pam and Larry Smith. Together they make learning to paint fun. Larry's specialty is landscapes, color theory, palette knive painting and playing fun music. In 2016 Larrys paintings were awarded first place in the painting category, at the Atlanta Dogwood Festival. In 2017 his work was selected first plcae in the oil painting category at the Isle of Eight Shrimp Festival Art Show. Pam is a sought after portrait painter. She is known for her patient ability to teach others how to create beautiful paintings and oil portraits. These two teachers compliment each other. They bring strong teaching dynamics and fun to the studio/classroom, while fostering an encouraging learning environment. Classes are suited to the beginner and to the experienced painter looking to improve their painting skills.

"Almost 90% of our students have never painted before. We have found that all you need is a willingness to try something new to succeed in our painting classes. Many of our students are now selling their paintings on Facebook, their websites, and art shows. Many are entering and have been accepted into local juried art shows. Two have opened their own galleries. We are extremely proud of all of our students." — Pam and Larry Smith
